I made my dorm beach themed... while these aren't the best pictures, turquoise and teal find themselves throughout the space. It's not the greatest, but it got the job done. The snowflakes are from our holiday party.
Yes that pillow in the middle has sequins... We also have colorful ornaments running down our hallway. I'll post more pictures eventually. Mixing colors is important. Having things too matchy matchy makes it look you got it from a store, while coordinating colors, patterns, and textures gives a creative and warm, as well as put together effect.
